Hello everyone, my bitches ears are really inflamed and itchy inside. I keep cleaning it each day, but the vet said until she is done feeding the pups we can't use any ear medicine on her. They contain Hydrocortisone. Does anyone have any suggestions as to anything else I could use. Even if it does not clear it up but could just bring relief to her would be wonderful.

Otomax, ear drop suspension has Sulfate, Betamethasone, valarate and clotrimazole in it this is what my vet uses. Also Thornit powder avaliable from Champion pets

I would get it cleared up as sore ears can lead to rise in temp etc and you really want her tip top for feeding pups. I guess vet will know better but I would ask about above.

Good luck

Hi Dede, here is a link for a solution you can make yourself & it`s a natural one with no harmful side effects. I`ve used it myself with excellent results & it can also be used for other things. Good luck :)
