Last night my bitch who was mated 5 weeks ago had a small amount of discharge. Everything is clean down there now and there has been no further incidence and she is not showing any other signs of trouble.(No excessive drinking-urinating, no temperature, appetite fine, not sluggish or lethargic and belted around after squirrels on her walk.

Couldnt see the colour as it was on her bed, which is dark. I can only describe the smell as like one of her pigs ears. She has had a small amount of discharge from time to time throughout this last 5 weeks but nothing serious. She also had a blood test a week ago following a negative scan and all her counts were absolutely fine.

Any ideas as to what to do?

EDIT: Just spoken to the vet and they say that it may be due to her clearing out some of the muck left after her season and were very assuring that this is not something too serious and told me just to keep an eye on her.
