I've been reading the post about the 2 dobes and wondered if anyone has any advise for me. I have a year old Rhodesian Ridgeback male and have just introduced a 15 week old Ridgeback male puppy. Obviously I am and always will be leader in house and will respect their choice of who becomes canine leader later on. In the meantime wondered if anyone has any words of wisdom they would like to pass on so I can do the best I can to bring them up harmoniously and stop fighting in the future. I prefer prevention rather than cure! Thanks.

Not that I know much about the Dobes but just to say I have two boys for a year now living in harmony. 1st dog is a sheltie.........2nd dog rough collie. Best advise with a pack animal, any attention given by the leader would be for the 1year old first that is feeding, cuddles, walks, tipbits etc. And enjoy.
