Hi everyone. Well I just got a call from my vet and he told me that the ear medicine I have been using on Nugget warns not to give to a pregnant dog. The bottle was covered with a prescription lable so I could not see that part that stated not to give it to pregnant or nursing dogs. So Nugget has had it in her ear around 10 to 20 times during her pregnancy. The vet said to stop giving it to her of course, and to just keep an eye on her and that it should be fine as it's only 1% part. However that was not good enough for me. I want to know what to watch for and what effect it could have on the pups. I have been searching the internet for info and I'm only finding warning for not taking it, but not results if you do. If anyone knows anything or has a vet that would be more forthcoming for Nugget I would certainly appreciate it. Nugget is on day 57 today. I used this per the vet since the 5th day. Not often just when the ear flaired up.
Thanks
Dede

Shocker!

Another veterinary blunder. Honestly sometimes wonder what we pay these people for!

Utter sympathy to you dede I just hope that hydrocortisone(Mild steroid) hasnt damaged nugget or the pups in any way.

Shameful really, make sure you get recompense from the vet other than a simple apology!
