Just a quick update Re: Poppy. Had a call from the Vet on Thursday evening about Poppy, to say that the aspirate results showed no cancer cells, she said she is still airing on the side of caution, even though that was good news, because there is a possibility that she may not have taken any cells from the main core of the lump, just the inflammatory tissue surrounding it. So Poppy is on a course of Anti Biotic for 10 days to see if the lump disappears altogether - if any of the lump remains Poppy will have another aspirate done to check the cells again. The lump has not gone down anymore though, it is now about the size of a large egg. Whilst Poppy is eating etc she seems to be very tired and not enjoying her walks (not that she goes far). So I guess we will have to wait and see.
Fingers crossed

The Lump has grown again!!! As if that wasn't bad enough, yesterday Poppy was napping, woke up and had problems co ordinating her legs to walk, her back was arched like a cat, she wanted to go out and before I could get to her she fell down the Back Door steps, face first and split her lip slightly, blood everywhere, other 4 dogs worrying around Poppy, me sat with Poppy and sheets of Kitchen roll to her mouth to soak up blood, trying not to get upset, hubby in bed (night shift). This 'episode' passed after she had another nap, she is a bit shaky on her legs but nothing like yesterday, she looks so sad. Looks like another trip to the Vets for another aspirate on Lump.
