Well we FINALLY got into a vet---and that is a whole nother issue cuz this vet SUCKS and is not my normal one:(---
But the rescue dog is pregnant FOR SURE. We can feel and see the puppies moving around inside. She constantly is by my side and has difficulty getting comfortable. When i asked this vet how far along he thought she was---He said at least 6 weeks--WELL i have had her longer that that--SO my question is--If you don't know when they 63rd day is--What tell tale signs should i be looking for--yesterday she got sick to her tummy, and her temp is below 100 degrees---she is NOT comfy at all and tried to sleep but cant. We are feeding her small portions several times a day to keep her strength up.
This dog is miserable.
Other part of update is we found the owners--They are in JAIL--and get this--they ar there for cruelty to animals--they found 3 dead dogs at their home--THEY LIVE 2.5 hours from here---in another state.
They had a friend DROP this dog and have surrendered it to me. Our human society would put the dog down since it's prego and they are full. SO it's NOW my dog--and she's a sweet sweet dog--I have lined up 4 people to take the puppies and provide care for them. If there are more i will find more owners ion my network to keep them.

Good for you Kim, if there were more people like you then maybe there wouldn't be so many dogs alone during a time like this. It's bad enough to dump a dog but to do so when they are bred is so heartless. What a blessing it is for the dog to be able to be there with you. I'm sure you are giving her much comfort. Good luck to both of you. I know how much I love my dog and every time I just rub her belly it gives me tears in my eyes to be able to share this with her. I'm thankful that dog has you.

Well my shih tzu's LOVE her too. It's quite funny actually. She's just so loving right now and my shadow. It angers me to know what these people did--and just cuz she's not a prue breed doesn't mean i can't love her--just the second she can she will be spayed---or my male shih tzu will wanna party.

Good luck with the welping and I hope she gives you lovely healthy puppies, I'm so glad this little bitch has found you, it could have been someonelse who did not care and got her and the pups pts. Thanks soooo much---Her teats are a tad warm today--still soft and she's got clear mucus discharge so i am preparing for pups soon and will keep you all posted
