I have a one year old springer spaniel dog who has field trial champion parents and grandparents. I am keen to breed him. Can any one tell me where is the best place to find him a bitch?
I am in the midlands
Thanx

His Grandparents may be FTC but what about your dog?
has he proved himself in the showring or the field, is he an outstanding example of his breed.
Just because he has champions in his pedigree does not mean he is one.
He should prove it just like his grandparents have.
the best thing to do is speak to his breeder and see what she thinks of him.Show him in the breed ring and or do the field trials with him, then and only then if he is good enough people with bitches will approach you for breeding.
12 months old is a bit young to be thinking of breeding him , also has he had all the medical tests for his breed to prove that he is not going to pass on anything to puppies.
There is alot more to breeding good healthy puppies than just shoving two dogs together.
