Just wondering if any of you have any tips on encouraging a bitch into season I have just been told to get her on vitamin e and wondered what others swear by.

We have a 2 1/2 year old Boxer health tested etc. etc. with an eager stud dog waiting. She has not had a season for 14 months she is fit and well, there is no real hurry it's just me getting impatient and excited as this is a long awaited mating.

Get her into the company of another inseason bitch, this will often bring them in if they have been waiting to come in overlong. What are her mothers and other female relatives seasons like in interval?

Infrequent seasons can be a sign of one of the thyroid problems.

At he moment everybody I speak to is waiting for their bitches to come in season so unfortunately I know of none at the moment, but her kennel mate didn't bring her in 2 months ago as I was hoping, she has a clean bill of health. I don't know about her mother/ sisters yet I will contact her breeder.

I think we had a thread similar to this a while ago and they used fit and fertile and other methods. I could be wrong though! I'll try and find the thread:D
