I'm just so pleased that it is this date again, so my little monster, i mean dog and I are once more allowed on our local beaches, so join with me in a toast to the winter!!! the only problem is changing the people who cause the bans in the first place, i.e a man today, the first day we are allowed back, letting his two springers poo all over the beach, those people should be tagged and an alarm should go off when they approach the beach so that everyone knows who they are, then we wouldn't get the blame LOL!!

I ABSOULTELY agree with you!! I have a few soap-boxes, but not cleaning up is one you'll hear often from me - esp when it means we are barred from places (and in a sense rightly so) because of it.

We found a stretch of beach open year round to the dogs - only found it 2 weeks ago though, and you should have seen hubby when Chelsea decided to 'do her thing' right on the water line, so the waves were dragging it out as he was trying to get it - but get it all he did. Last thing I wanted was for it to wash back up in some little kid's sand pail.
