After the dissapointment at my vets I took my dog to a wel known and respected Greyhound man near Pontefract. He gave him a complete going over and found his back was out. With a swift 'crack' it went back in. He also found my dog has a swelling on the longest ligamnet in his rear leg (can't remember its name) close to a previous injury above the knee. A heat sensitive 'pen' was used, when a swelling was located the current meter went up, it was very impressive. I was given 'Green Oil' to massage into the ligament daily and lead walk the dog for 10 days. Total cost......£12, a bit better than £300 for a non existant injury. Guess where I'll be going next time!
