I feel so bad :( His eye did get worse on wednesday and I had to take him in. He had to stay the night because they did the op thursday morning. They couldn't believe how perky he was when we came to see him at 5:45pm (op was at around 9 am). My vet said that he seems well in himself so we were alowed to bring him home. Today is friday 11:53am he seems to be a little better. I gave him some canned dog food with water added just to get him to drink some and about a half hour after that he drank some water which I was very pleased. She has him on some antibiotics for a couple of days. He seems to do alot of sleeping and follows me around if I get too far, rather then that he seems fine just a lot slower right now. The stitches are disolvable and we have to go back for a recheck on the 16. It cost us $562.13 for the vet visit and the op. She showed us his eye so we could see it and she said that they send it away to do a gluecloma test and other tests on it, and will let us know if anything comes back. That was free. Now his left eye is sown shut and shaved, she said once the hair grows in it will look alot better. They also used some tissue so when it does heal it won't sink in and look hollow.

He looks so different, but is still my cute boy :). Do u think he will still be able to do agility or flyball? His next class is in August and if he is fine I would love to put him in (depending on him of course), he just loves it, gets so excited when we go.

ttfn :( :)

Thank you for ur replies :)

If the vet gives the go ahead I'm going to put him back into agility level 2 again, the next class is in August. He seems to be getting back to himself and hyper again, but I'm suppose to keep him calm for about 10days until I see our vet again. Just happy to see him bounce back so fast.

I still do feel terrible about it :( Taz tries to play with him still and does the puppy bow, but I won't let Junior play at all right now, hard enough keeping him still

But he still loves me :)

ttfn :)
