Right here goes, Read all round the subject and have been to see the vet to see what he had to say.
Virigin Bitch 3 years old mated first time.
The story so far. Vaginal Swab taken 2 weeks before mating showed evidence of Strepp B. Course of Synolux to cover mating and week after.
During week after mating small amount of clear to creamy discharge could be seen from Her vulva during the first part of her early morning walk. As soon as she had a pee this dissappeared and couldnt be seen again until the following morning. This pattern continued through week 1 and 2 and into week 3, but seems to have cleared now.
Sleeping a lot waking me up in the middle of the night/early hours with Verps kind of a half viomit half burp.
End of week 2 beginning of week 3 starts to go off regular food as she has at same point in previous seasons. Tempting her with different sorts of foods and different treats.
No real difference in energy levels especially when out walking seems to pull and walk at same pace without problem.
Rectal Temperature normal 38.2- 38.3 centigrade. Is she coming down with Pyo or are these all just normal symptoms, going out of my mind!
Any help appreciated!
Cheers

Vet gave her another course of Synolux to be on the safe side.
we got quite large differences in temperature readings tho, he said 101.8 where mine came out as soon as I got her home and before to about 101. Very strange!
Just to keep an eye on her!
Costing me a bloody fortune working out what she will and wont eat! Scramblled egg and Ham seems to be a favourite at the moment!

Give her a couple of days and she won't eat that either and you'll be looking for something else!........:-) My girls nearly always eat Tripe, disgusting stuff but they seem to like it! My girl is day 63 today, so we are on puppy watch, she hasn't ate a thing today, stayed in her bed alot too, what's the bet she goes into labour tonight and delivers overnight :-(

Hi! , sounds as if she is going to be a mum!!! my bitch welped , and was sick quite a bit over the 9 wks. went off some of her food so I gave chicken with boiled rice for a few days then back on to her normal tripe etc. Sometimes a bitch can be sick with "bile" in the mornings, and even during the night, and others just sail through with no symptoms at all, good luck, hope you have a lovely healthy litter of puppies in a few weeks time.

Hi, my bitch has had the exact same signs as yours did and my vet also worried of Pyo. She was also put on an antibiotic for safety. She is now only 2 weeks from whelping. She goes in and out of eating. There is no doubt that my dog is bred. She has put on weight, and her tits are alllloooottt bigger.
The first 2 to 3 weeks after mating she had a white creamy discharge, I was so scared about it, but the more I heard from and talked to people on this site the more I learned that it was a sign that the bitches mating had most likely taken. Then at week 3 and even still at times she will vomit, or burp up a little, (so I know what you mean)She was tired all the time, unless walking or at playtime. She still loves her walks in the park and gets excited when she sees her leash in my handl, but I can see that she is ready to rest when we return. She has just recently started to have a clear discharge. I don't really see it, but I can tell because her hair on her back legs is sometimes stuck together with it. It has no odor to it.
She isn't to interested in her dog food bowl, but let her get ahold of a peice of meat and she's ravinous for it. She has never taken food anyway but gently until the last few weeks. Now if it's meat she tries to get it as fast as possible.
I hope that this information puts you a little to rest. Of course you want to keep a close eye on her and take her to the vet with the least little concern. But from what you've discribed, she has had the same signs as our Nugget and so far everything except for me seems to be on track. The Book of the Bitch, which was recommeded to me on this site has been a god send and if you don't have if you might get a lot of relief from reading it. It is the best information I have found.
Good luck to you and I'll keep in touch when we have the pups

White discharge cleared ok now, but she had a little tiny bit of discharge last night which was kind of mucousy and opaque but with no smell, scared me a little, took her temp and was fine, she has not been over drinking or peeing a lot, wont eat in the morning and is completely ravenous at night! Left her over night no more signs of any discharge and temp still normal and still looney and wanting to play this morning!
Madness!!!
PS My copy of book of the bitch seems to be taking a long time to come through!

As others have said this all sounds normal. Many bitches have "morning sickness" and cannot face food in the morning and many vomit up frothy bile, which is nothing to worry about. If she is vomiting food after eating that is different, but still may be nothing to worry about if its just occasionally.
Almost all pregnant bitches have a clearish or whitish discharge. As long as the discharge is not copious or coloured - yellow to green or brown there is nothing to worry about. If she has a long coat make sure the area is trimmed back, so she can clean herself easily and the discharge does not stick to the coat. A normal temp is somewhere between 101 and 102 degrees, they are not all bang on at 101.5 and you can expect slight variations throughout the day. Its obvious that you love your dog and want to do the best for her - but do try not to worry, it sounds like all is well.
