Has anyone ever stayed at The Malvern Hills Hotel near to the three counties showground. Just looking for some feedback as I need somewhere to stay and am considering this one.

We stayed at the Travel Lodge which wasn't too far out - I can't remember which one, but it was only about 10-15 minutes away.

I've booked into the Malvern for the mo and plan to search around for some travelodges to see if there is anything really close but a bit cheaper. Thing is because our judging starts at 9am, I have one dog to get settled in the unentered tent and one to bench then only got 2 classes before mine I really need to be there sharpish. Hence why I'm looking for something really close so as not to have to get up in the middle of the night otherwise it defeats the purpose of travelling down the day before. :-)

Should also say that I'm coming down from the North so wouldn't want to drive past the showground in order to get to a hotel. :-)
