does anyone hunt with field bred american cockers? i f so i would like to set an e-mail address so that i can ask questions and learn first hand how to work them.

i'm not sure that there are feild bred americans, however there is someone who shows and works them as i've seen pictures of his dogs in supplements in the dog press, i cant remember his name or affix but if it comes to me i'll send it.---it might of been ironside, but i might of dreamt it! i do think it was a bill ironside,

thanks joe for the WE!!! i think he works his dogs undocked too- no i'm not anti docking please dont lets get into that one, but i thought it might make it easier for someone to remember him and possibly be able to give you a contact re the working yanks!

Yes it is Bill Ironside of Belcrum/Tavirosh Clumber Spaniels who works his American Cockers (they look docked from the pictures I have seen of them)

ive left a message for mr ironside to check the board out as someone would like help.leigh his website isn't conecting from his page,i wanted to see if his yanks where docked or if i'd imagined they where'nt, i also tried going on via the border terriers same thing happens

Bill is the clumber god. And he has other dogs too. I think all his contact details are listed under clumber spaniel breeders. If you've e-mailed him he will get back toyou eventually. He's well worth talking to. TH and I can vouch for that.
