My bitch is approx.30 days pregnant,I say approx. because my vet saw her last week and said that the horns of her uterus were thick and she felt bumps.However she also said that some dogs have all the signs and then they end up having a false pregnancy,so to just wait and see.Now we are on day 30 and she woke up not feeling to good and not wanting to eat very much,then this afternoon she vomited a few times within a 15 min. period.She is sleeping now but I am worried,the vet said to bring her in if she continues.I am just so worried,can dogs have this type of morning sickness?She has swollen mamary glands (not leaking milk) and she is starting to get a little thicker around the middle.I also noticed that she is sitting differnt,with her legs more spread out as if to make room for her little belly.Also if you are an expert on this sort of thing,would the thickening of the uterus indicate pregnancy and are the tiny bumps the pups.Thanks to all who answer my questions.I respect all of your opinions:)Melanie

This all sounds like a normal pregnancy,nausea, the tiny marbles are the babies.And the different sitting position I call a puppy sit, its how pups sit anyway and then females do it when they are pregnant.It s a worrying time and your first time is always the worst, try not to worry everything sounds normal. :)

Hope everything progresses fine. 30 days is the common time for them to be sick but if she is poorly at all after 30 mins off to the vet I say.
