I have a bitch that suffers with mood swings and phantom pregnancies.
I was seriously thinking of having her speyed two months ago as I wondered
if it was all worth it letting her go through this every 6 months. However we
like to show and have enjoyed showing this particular bitch.
After her last season she went very moody, sadly, did not want to get up hardly
in the mornings and would go for a small walk and then back to her basket and that was her daily pattern. So I decided in a last ditch attempt to try some
minerals on her or something to help. So I bought some Fertimate along side some
fit and fertile that I wanted to use on a bitch that was loosing coat as she had just whelped. The fit and fertile really helped the bitch that had whelped and
is bringing her new coat in lovely. But my other bitch was given Fertimate. This has totally transformed her. She is lively, up for a game, not moody, dancing around everywhere, I just cant belive its the same dog. I am not one to promote
products but hey it if helps why not. In our case it really has worked.

Hi Nutkin,
Do you give it to her all the time or just around her seasons? Reason i ask is since having cleo spayed she is definately more moody adn lazy - want my old girl back who didn't sulk almost continuosly! And where do you get hold of it?
Thanks,
Alex

I have given her a scoop into meal once a day.
Thank fully she will eat it as some of the suppliments I have tried before Chelsea would turn her nose up at. I have tried everything before now, oil of primrose, plusilla, hormonize. It just seemed to work for her. I got it from
www.fitandferitle.com I filled in the order form and four days later it came then I put a cheque in the post.
I think I should have some actually give me a new lease of life. :D
Thing is I had to stop showing her as she was getting so miserable. I took her to ring craft again to get her used to the idea of showing and she bounced around everywhere. Now of course I must add it may just be that she has got over what ever was making her moody, but it happened at the time she had been on fertimate after 10 days.
I should add I had been to the vets and he said that I could use Galastrop, but I turned down that offer as I wanted to use something more natural.

Thanks nutkin - have had a look at the site - how did you decide that Fertimate was the right one for your dog over the others?

Sorry I have only just got back to that one.
Well I wish I could say I worked it out logically. But I did'nt. I thought to myself maybe she was lacking in some sort of mineral and that maybe fertimate would contain minerals to help production so I thought give it a try. So sorry cant give you a great anwer on that one.
My bitch who I had stopped showing was put in her first show yesterday and got reserve best of breed. She actually danced around the ring and lept up in the air twice as she was so happy. I could not believe my eyes. Even my husband said that the transformation has been great, he noted in the past I usually drag her around the ring and yesterday she kept getting ahead of me. So I am happy, it worked for us.
