Hi, I have a golden retriever, 5 1/2 months old who is very small (maybe 30 lb.) for her age. Many people who meet her for the first time think she is 3 months, and I met some other goldies who were 4 months and were a little bigger than her (well, one was a bit bigger, the other quite a bit bigger). I was wondering if anyone can tell me how big she is going to get? What is the smallest size of a golden retriever? I don't care that she is small, she is only a pet, no papers/show/etc.

Basically her adult size is determined by her genes, and will be influenced by her diet. How big was her mother?

Golden bitches range from 20-22" at the shoulder, and won't be full height until about 10 months old. How tall is she?
