I'm a New Zealander (living in NZ) and owner of American Cocker Spaniels, having loved and lived with the breed now for 14 years.
I'm keen to travel to Europe in 2004 (possibly about the time of Crufts) and I would like to organise to spend time with some experienced breeders/groomers to further my knowledge of the breed.
I am not looking for free accommodation or to be a burden to anyone who would be in a position to share their time and knowledge with me, and I'd be happy to act as kennel maid etc and to muck in and help out. Essentially, I want to glean as much as I can about the grooming and exhibiting of the breed.
I'd be happy to provide full details about myself to anyone in a position to help.
Would you please be kind enough to refer this post and my email address to anyone you think might be able to help.
Yours in Dogdom

Hi Leigh,

Have replied to you at your own e-mail address. We have one of the mosts succesful kennels of American Cockers in Europe, and would certainly be pleased for you to visit us and meet "the gang". We have a whole crop of new pups coming out this year, so hopefully next year will be exciting.
bye
Gwen
