my newfie is 14 and was given tablets by the vet but they worked out to expensive, does anyone no where i can buy any thing simmilar to what humans would take and that would be cheaper?

My little terrier has arthritis and the tablets that the vet gave me did little if nothing, i was advised to buy glucosamine sulphate which i give as a subsitute and she is a diffrent dog.
You can get it in most health food shops.

Don't know how to put this tackfully, but, if your Newfie is 14 years old then I would do your best to afford what is best for him, it can't be for very long.
