Topic Dog Boards / Health / Test for Worms Comes Back Negative :)

Well as a lot of you know, I haven`t wormed my dogs for nearly 2 yrs & my 2 youngest dogs who are now 2yrs old have never been wormed in their life. I took four fecal samples to be tested for worms & I have just got the results back, all 4 are negative. Must be doing something right in their diet & lifestyle eh? Very happy about this.:) :)

Good to hear that Christine. Is it the garlic or something else in the diet that you give them?

Hi Ruth, I can`t honestly say I know what it is!!! :) I know some people who feed raw & give garlic but their dogs still get worms. Possibly a combination of things, I also give them pumpkin/seeds, brewers yeast, the B rich foods. I try to keep their immune system as healthy as I can so I suspect it all combines to keep the nasty wrigglies away :) Just one thing tho I use fresh garlic instead of tab form.

That's good - it saves on the food bills if you're not catering for parasites as well!! :)
