I want to take my border collie out for the day tomorrow - preferably to a beach in 2 hour driving distance.(I live in Birmingham). The nearest coastline is Somerset however I don't know of any beaches in that area where dogs are allowed. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Burnham-on-sea - to the right of the Pavilion!

Burnham is a good walk. You can walk all the way to Brean sands. I did it a couple of weeks ago, took a couple of hours.
