Sorry Labradors shed their coat, big style, and a Labrador is a Labrador is a Labrador. One breed only.So the short answer to your question is, No.

I have found that yellow tend to be worse than chocolate, and both far worse than black.
However, they all shed. Sorry

Hi Guest,
There is only one breed of labrador - the labrador retriever. It comes in three colours, yellow, black or chocolate. And they all moult.

Could the guest be thinking of the Labradoodle?
Guest - this is a cross breed - Labrador/Poodle. It could be what you are thinking of - but I wouldn't like to guarantee it not shedding.

Any cross breed is as likely to take on the characteristic of one side as the other so on average half would take after the Poodle and half the Labrador.
If you really don’t want a dog to moult then you need to go for a non moulting breed. There is no other way.

you could get a mad-as-a-hatter curly thing that loses all its hair, for example

:D
Last time my chocolate bitch shed i combed a bin bag and a half out of her so yes they deffinatly shed!

Quite frankly, anyone who does not like dog hair in their dinner should steer well clear of Labradors! It is one of their more endearing aspects! It does not thread in as bad as the shorter stiffer Dalmatian coat but I always feel it has a better taste.
Regards, John :p

A certain amount of ingested dog hair is essential roughage, isn't it? ;)
