we curently have a Bulldog (male, 20 months old) and would like to know if a Dogue de Bordeaux would get on with him. I would also like to know the breeds temprament especially with:
1. being left for up to 5hrs a day.
2. children.
3. barking.

I have no experiance with this type of dog but any good breeder should be happy for you to visit and discuss these issues with them.
I often have people come to me and me go to them three or four times before deciding a dog is suitable for them.
