I am looking for a place to send a 3 year old English Bull Terrier bitch for breeding. We live in London and so do not have the space to accomadate dog and puppies. The bitch is of good lineage, all papers are available. Any information please send email to Olivia Taylor at rosieosborne@tilworth.co.uk or call on 01935 891380 or mobile 07816 016 834. Thanks for your time.

Welcome to the forum Olivia.
I am intrigued to know why you want your bitch to have litter when you do not have the space to rear a litter yourself ? Do you want a puppy from her for yourself ? Are you happy to let your bitch go to a complete stranger ? I would be very sceptical about anyone who 'volunteered' to provide such a service for you! If you are determined to go ahead, why not contact your bitches breeder as she may be able to help you. I would advise great caution in letting your bitch go to anyone that you do not know to have a litter. So much can go wrong!

I have to agree with Leigh on this one.
Why on earth would u want your dog to have a litter if u couldent raise them yourself?
I wouldent trust anyone with my dogs, thier like children....u wouldent leave your kids with a complete stranger so I couldent do it to my dogs.

I once bred a litter for frien=ds in the breed, as the wifes health did not allow them to do it themselves. I would never do it again, it wasn't the same as breeding from one of your own, where you have a bond, and know when your dog is not quite right. I didn't feel I had a decent relationship with this bitch until she was nearly ready to go home. This breeeder bitch bond I feel is so important, as in effect you are her pack that she relies on to look after her and her babies at this vulnerable time.

This poor girl in the event had a ceasarean section, what if she had died whelping? It was only my previous experience that made me contact the vet in time to ensure all went well in the end. I would not do this again, as it is too onerous responsibility when it isn't your dog.

I wouldn't trust a complete stranger who would offer to do this for you.

I do hope you haven't been fed the 'old wives tale' that a bitch should have one litter for her health, to improve her temper, or what have you. This is uttewr nonsense!!!
