We are intending to breed from our chocolate labrador bitch when she comes into heat. (next month)
She is 3 years old ,has a full pedigree and is Kennel Club registered.
Eye tested this year all clear. Hip Score 0-0 (repeat 0-0)
We are looking for a suitable stud dog somewhere in the North of England/Southern Scotland.
Prefer working dog but good temperament and labrador characteristcs more important.

You must be delighted with that Hip Score.

I would go back to your breeder for advice on compatible bloodlines, and for a dog that will complement her. How good a labrador specimin is she? Are her bloodlines more working or show? There are some breeders who try to breed more dual purpose animals, that have wormanlike qualities, but are still good looking in the breed standard sense.

Also depending on what colour her parents were you may want to consider a black stud also.
