hmmm - sounds like its all been a bit too much for his system...changing food and worming.

I would fast him for 12 hours... and then give him a bit of both again for a while until his stomach settles down. Its a lot for a 5 month old to cope with.

Hi Feddie
we switched Gus from Tinned puppy food onto Hills dried and he was the same with regards to stools - takes a few days to settle in but then they go ok. Some wormers can upset their little tummies too .
Keep your eye on him but i would think he is ok :)

hmmm - i always feel vets are somewhat *enthusiastic* over worming.

i don't always listen to what my vet says i'm afraid. i would worm when your dog is healthy and settled and on his normal food.... its easier on his stomach then :)

I haven't found a food better than Burns yet - I would call them and ask for a sample. You could also mix a bit of fresh mince in with it or tripe too. what does you breeder say?
