I would guess that your bitch is around the right age to want to challenge the other dogs for their status in your house. It is normal for dogs to do this, and their status, IMO changes from situation to situation.
Firstly, can i suggest that you feed your dogs in different rooms.
Assess how she is in different circumstances, does she want every toy, cuddle, bit of attention going, or is this behaviour JUST over food?
Lots of dogs are funny about food, my own three certainly are. Rocky, my neutered male crossbreed, he wont eat high value treats in front of the other two, he just drops them, or hides them. This is because the other two always steal them.
Saffi eats quite slowly, but woe betide the dog that trys to pinch some of her dinner!
Dill is just a pup, and he eats everything in sight, and is not above pinching stuff, but has learnt not to approach Saffi when she is eating.
But, Rocky has the priviledge of sleepin on my bed, which the other two dont have, so you would think he was top dog, but he isnt!!!!! Saffi is in the house, Rocky is outside, sometimes, and Dill doesnt really care about status, he just likes to have fun!
Why dont you register then you can reply, and answer questions, as with dogs (like most things) these problems are NEVER black and white!
