Hi all, I noticed today that my pooch has 3 lines down her nose, as if she scratched it on something. The lines are pink though, unpigmented. I was wondering if this is likely to be permanent or will her nose pigment come back as the scratches heal?

I posted a while ago on this subject. I also was afraid the colour would not return. It did come back, took a couple of weeks before it was fully covered, but you should see it starting to turn in a few days.

Have you got a cat? My ebt has been scratched on the nose so many times by my cat and the scratches always healed up and believe me he did have some bad ones which I thought would leave scars but they didn't. He has now learn't his lesson to not get too close to the cat and they are now best friends that even sleep together, it has taken him nearly a year to learn this but he learn't the hard way.

No I haven't got a cat :) I'm quite nervous on the whole dog/cat thing because last time we visited at a friend's house, Nikki was chasing the cat and barking. The poor cat was so scared. I'd hate to see Nikki injured by a panicked cat.

Glad to hear the scratches heal though, I can't imagine what it could be except maybe a branch at the park.
