Hello Guest , if your lovely St Bernard is a great example of his breed I have to assume that you show him , if this is the case then you will probably have people queueing up to use his services :)

You will need to make sure he has had ALL the relevant health checks needed (hips , eyes etc) and can provide certification for the owner of any bitch who wants to see it :)

I would recommend that you contact the breeder of your boy and see what they say about his suitability for use as stud and let them guide you
