My friends have recently re homed a dog who had a litter with the previous owners, they are not planning on breeding from her though they have noticed that her nipples are not smoothe they are very rough and a little bitty, this sounds so silly as I am writing this :O

Is this normal, all of my bitches have very smooth nipples, do you think it has got something to do with a previous litter?

Try rubbing in some vaseline for a couple of days and see if that helps.
