I have a 5yr old red grizzle boarder terrier who I would like to put up for stud. He has no experience but is driving me mad this spring with his frisky behaviour. If anyone can help me let me know. I am not looking to make any kind of profit. He is KC registered and one of the pups from the last litter from one of my own bitches and he has regular health checks but I would be pleased for him to see the vet of any potential mate to clear up any concerns the owner may have.

I think using him at stud occasionally may well make his behaviour worse, rather than better. Once he's tasted the 'forbidden fruit' you may well find you've opened a can of worms (to mix metaphors!) :)
