Topic Dog Boards / General / Will two collars work together
- By Sandie [gb] Date 22.03.03 22:09 UTC
Does anyone know if its possible to use two master plus collars at the same time, we have recently bought one for one of our dogs and we are really pleased so far with the results its like taking a different dog out, as we have 5 dogs we usually exercise them in two's, we would like to buy another collar but we dont know if its possible to use two at the same time or would they interfere with each other.

I believe they all operate on the same frequency, so two in the vicinity of a remote controller would both be activated :(

I have heard of someone locally who had one on each of her two dogs and seemed to cope. I would find it inredibly fiddle to deal with two remotes myself;) I would suggest you contact Roger Mugford's site http://www.companyofanimals and ask if it is possible.

Sandie, I also have a MasterPlus Collar and so do two people that I often walk with. Each remote is programmed for the collar it is sold with so they work independently and don't interfere with each other.
