Just in case anyone is thinking of getting new dog tags, I can recommend 'Identitag Engraving'.
I sent them an order for three Dog Tags yesterday morning and recieved, three excelently engraved disks by first post this morning. Now that is first class service in my book. And the price of £4.95 for brass or chrome (cheaper for plastic) including postage is not bad either.

I have to agree, I have had the same Pet-tags now on my dogs for the last 6 years and they still look good and readable :-) great value for money well recommended.

Does any one have the same problem as me ? My dog tags (well not mine :) ) wear through the little ring bit and fall off after about a year. Any ideas on how to prevent this ? I am forever ringing up Petsafe and ordering new ones :)

I is still a'doing just great. Have just lashed out on some new 'GOLD' dog tags for the Gas-Bucket, so at least he will be looking smart, even if my old eyes are too dim to read what it say's on them.

I've been looking for some decent dog tags for a while now, mine are barely readable, after less than 12 months, so I 've just ordered two :)

My dogtags ones have been great for the past two and a half years. The engraving is etched or filled with black, so that it is very legible, and they don't charge extra for more words. I have my name addy and phoje no one side, and the fact theat they are chipped and tattooed the other, asking them to cotact petlog or NDTR.

I know that I was pleased with mine, but it is always a bit worrying when you recomend something to people, just in case the thing that you recomended dosen't come up-to-scratch.

What did you get? Brass, chrome or plastic?

My Gas-Bucket loves his, trots along the street with his disk hanging from his collar like an OBE medal from the queen.

Have just ordered three new ones for the girls. Mins collar plus tag has mysteriously disappeared of the face of the earth and Moose and MB's tags are so difficult to see. The disappearance of Mins collar has something to do with the other two but have not had a confession or have been shown where it has been hidden !

I ordered mine on Thursday and got them on Friday - they're great, although Laras is a bit big :D She'll just have to grow into it :D :D :D

Mine have my phone numbers on one side and "I'm microchipped, please scan me" on the other side. I've got the medium and large sized bones and the writing is really clear - not squashed at all.

Great value for money and much better than the ones the shoe shops do :)

You guy's have made my day. I am so glad that you like the 'New' dog tags. I bet your dogs look real proud as they strut along the street with their new 'gongs' hanging from their collars.

I got the 'Hexagonal' shape disks with our address on one side and "BRADY" ( Well I couldn't put "Gas-Bucket" on the disk, could I? ) with our telephone number and the dogs tattoo number on the other side.
I was well pleased with the disks, and the quality of the printing, also the speed with which 'IdentiTag' dispatched the order. I keep a book of 'Useful Doggy Things' and have added 'IdentiTag' to the list as a first class company to do business with.

Oh dear Lucy, What a shame, sad to say that I am 'NOT' in any way conected with IdentiTag, other than as a satified customer. Maybe I should have asked for a commission on all these sales, then I could start looking for that villa in the south of France and a yacht in the Med. ;)
