i am adopting a 8 month female golden retriever. I have raised my current golden since 8 weeks, now 11 1/2. She has been my focus and i know she is slowly dying. what's the best way to introduce?

Make sure the new girl does not hassle the old girl too much as I am sure she is probably used to lots of R&R ! If you see she is getting too much then step in but see if your plder girl will tell her off first.You may find however that it gives her a new lease of life and she will enjoy having the new one about ! I have introduced two pups to my older Labs and this has happened. Min our current eldest (12 1/2)will warn the newest Pup MB(20 weeks) if she is getting too much and MB now takes the hint ! They are how ever devoted to each other and Min will Grandma her and gives her lots of kisses and love !
