It is a long while since I have had a bitch. My 7 month old puppy is on about day 17 of her season and I have noticed a clear discharge tonight that has a fishy smell to it. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or could it be an infection.

could be a bit of vaginitis, i'd get it checked out to be on the safe side :)

The following day the smell had disappeared and she wasn't dripping nearly so much, so I will keep an eye on it. If it comes back I will take her to the vets, didn't want to look silly if it was normal during a season.
