PLEASE COULD ANYONE HELP ME. I AM URGENTLY TRYING TO CONTACT ANYONE WHO BOUGHT A STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER PUP, ON OR AROUND OCTOBER 2001, FROM A MR ADAM BOSWELL, OF BRIDGEWATER, SOMERSET. THERE WERE 10 PUPS IN THE LITTER, OF VARIOUS COLOURS, AND WERE AROUND 5-6 WEEKS OLD AT THE TIME. THEY WOULD NOW BE AROUND 17 MONTHS OLD. THE PREMISES WAS ISOLATED AND DIFFICULT TO FIND, SO MR BOSWELL USUALLY MET POTENTIAL BUYERS IN A LAYBY AND TOOK THEM TO THE PROPERTY. AT SOME POINT THERE WAS ALSO AMERICAN STAFFORDS, AMERICAN BULLDOGS, AND POSSIBLY PITBULLS, SO IF ANY OF THESE WERE ALSO BOUGHT AT ANY TIME, PLEASE COULD I BE CONTACTED. THE PUPS WERE ADVERTISED IN THE TRADE-IT, AND STATED AS HAVING PAPERS AND KC REG, BUT HAD NEITHER. ALSO, I BELIEVE THE WESTERN STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER SOCIETY MAY HAVE HEARD FROM SOMEONE WHO BOUGHT A PUP THERE, BUT I AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING AN E.MAIL ADD. didnt the alarm bells ring when you saw what you thought where pitbulls, as theyre now illegal in the uk, therefore it would worry me about the ethics of this breeder.-sorry if your having problems though/

Never never buy a puppy from someone who wants to meet in a location like this !!!!!!!!!!!
Pups should always be viewed in the home with the mother .
As mentioned Pitbulls are not registered by the KC and they should no longer be bred in the UK as they were to phased out as part of the Dangerous Dogs Act .
You should be able to contact the Western Staffordshire Bull Terrier club by entering the name into Google . Try going into Staffords.Co.uk site and see if there is a contact name there .

i have posted about this character before, as he advertises in a local paper. I have also written to the paper concerned about his...er...unethical? activities.

Have you tried speaking to dog owners/breeders in the area they may know where he is. I could put you in touch with someone who lives in that area if you wish.
