Hello, I am trying to find a Chihuahua puppy. I have no idea where to start (apart from here). I'm not bothered about peddigree as he/she will be my pet. I am sure someone will come along with a link to point you in the right direction. Have you tried the Kennel Club website?. This lists breeders for Chi's (though they are very scarce so you would probably need to travel). Also have you decided if you want a smooth coat or a long coat as breeders specialise in one or the other :). Also remember, they are not really suitable if you have young children in the house, due to their fragile nature!. Best of luck.

Please be aware of the health problems within the breed. My Chihuahua needed extensive surgery for patella luxation at approx 8 months old, poor little guy.
I had asked his breeder before purchase if this was known in his line, but she said no. But as the vet said - "They all say that..."

Thankfully my Chi was insured, just as well as the surgery cost £996 +
