i have recently taken in a lab pup from afriend who has split from wife ,the pup is registerd and i have a cert to fill in and return to the kennel club . ineed to know where my local dog and labrador clubs are and when they meet . iwould also appreciate some advice on feeding, [how much and when and what brand, theres so many its daunting]

Hi Pudd ...you are better feeding him on whatever he is used to. Only change him to something different slowly ...you have a basic choice of tinned meat and biscuits , complete (served dry but with plenty of water available always) or BARF (check out the Champdogs SEARCH facility for info on BARF)

Hopefully someone from near you will let you know about clubs etc near to you soon , if not , ring the Kennel Club and they will send you a list of nearby clubs :)
