Hi!!! I want to show my male shih tzu but i have no idea how to start. How old can they start to be shown? I heard there are shows for pups. My pup is still too young, he's a only a month old but i want to be prepared. He has all the papers processing. And the pups mother was mated by a grand champion dog unfortunately the owner is not willing to help me show my dog bec she's too busy she said. Can anyone help me?

Hi Aileen, I'm in the UK so I don't know the rules that apply to showing in the Phillipines, but I imagine you will have a Kennel Club. Ask them for some information. It must be very disappointing to find that your breeder is not willing to give you any advice or assistance. I must admit to feeling rather suspicious of such a person. What kind of breeder is she? This situation gives me a bad feeling. I hope you are able to find the help you need, Good Luck.
