I like the idea of the new ligthweight canvas crates which Is aw on several satnds at Crufts. Which should I buy and are they as good as they say?

I was very tempted by that stand at Crufts ... but managed to resist :D

They are very popular in Beardies just now so I think they must be good. As to which type to get can't advise you but have heard people talk about getting them from Here

I've got the Marlin 'tent' and I'm very pleased with it - excellent quality, not as lightweight as some of the mesh ones, but seems stronger to me and is plenty light enough to carry.

I to have the Marlin tent, it sure made a difference, when carrying it around the car-parks and halls to get to the bench at Crufts, a lot easier than the weld-mesh type. They seem to be getting popular in Sharpei to, wouldn't exchange mine now for all the tea in China :D

Best wishes

Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll give these a try. There are some advertised in DW this week from doghealth.co.uk which are quite a bit cheaper, I'll get their catalogue on monday. Thanks again, I'll let you know how I get on

ok thanks everyone

I got a couple of the tent crates from www.doghealth.co.uk and am well pleased. I did see a friend with another sort but it seemd very flimsy so I went for these.

We got a dome type canvas tent last summer from a stand selling mats and I have had problems with poor finish and jammed zips and unhelpful aftersales. I must say I wish I had waited until the new frame tents came...I got three Light and easy from doghealth at LKA and they are fantastic, only gripe is that they are light coloured and show the dirt easily, although they do sponge clean without too much trouble. We use them not just at shows but in the car. They get my vote, goodbye heavy metal cages, hello pain free arms!

I got the large 42 inch long light and easy crate, and have used it twice now, once at the hotel for the pedigree finals, and today at the first Open show I have been to>

It has been great, able to carry bag crate and hold dogs all in one go!

At the show today my two were stretched out full length really comfortably, and it would easily take 3 of mine.
