does anyone know of any Gundog training classes in the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire area? or wher i could find out about them

Hi Guest. You don't say whether you are looking for Retriever or Spaniel training, a lot of societies are one or the other. Try Leicestershire Gundog Society, Mr M.Bigam, phone 01509 812881. People in an area tend to know others in that area so if nothing else he might know of something suitable.
