Hi GUEST
Never had cockers but imagine they are the same as any breed some are ok with cats and others aren't, bit pot luck really but would say in general, she should be fine.
As for her season, she would normally have 2 a year..whenever, and ifyou want to get her spayed then its 3 months after the season has finished so that the blood vessels have gone back to normal.

Cockers are good with animals they are brought up with and are generally a sociable breed. At over a year old, it depends on what your Cocker's previous experience with cats has been - she may never have met a cat before :-) However, she is still young & so should get on fine with your cats (though they may not think much of her!) If you have never owned a bitch before, then I would advise you get a copy of "The Book of The Bitch" by Evans & White as this goes into all the various health issues peculiar to bitches, including seasons (dogs don't have monthly periods!) Many Cockers have seasons just once a year, others have 2 a year.
