My father recently lost one of his much-loved Collies to an illness and is looking for a young Tri-colour dog to be a friend to his other Collie, a four-year old sable, who is missing his mate quite badly. He has a large fenced garden and being retired, spends a good deal of his time looking after, and walking with the dog.
If you have a dog that might be suitable, of know of anyone who does, I would be very grateful if you would let me know.
yours sincerely

Hi Guest
Sorry to hear about your Father's loss. I believe that Mr Barry Makepeace had a 9 month old tri dog needing a home through no fault of his own. He can be contacted on : lynaire@btinternet.com. Good luck.

I think they are talking Collies rough, as I don't beleive they use the term Sable when talking of Borders. Is that right?

There are sable border collies around so the answer isn't certain but more likely to be rough collies.Gillian

I agree. Great site.
I just assumed that when someone said "collie" that they meant border. If not, then apologies.

Try collienet.com I was offered a lovely Tri male but I'd already rescued another one!
