Hi Jenro,
Have you considered crating him (if he's not being left for too many hours, that is)? If he is confined to a small area he is much less likely to mess it.

what is crating, how long should they be left for??

Hi,
If you click on "Search" at the top of the board, and type in "crating" you will find loads of info and opinions on this! :)

They say the dog is left for seven hours. I'm not surprised he wee's, he is left too long every day - and certainly far too long to crate during the daytime for imho.
Jenro - I think you'll have to accept that at three years of age and beong left for so long that he's going to leave a puddle. The only othe thing you could do is get someone to come on and spend some time with him and also to let him oput say around 11.30 - 12.30 ish.

You're right, Pammy - the best would be to get someone to take him out (a local dog-walker?) during the day. I can't "hold out" all day, so I'm not surprised the dog can't either!
