I wonder if anyone could advise me on Hammy, he is a 1.5 year old westie who was given to us at about 6 months. Over the past few weeks he seems to have become a bit dull and flat. We got a new puppy in december, after loosing our dobe who Hammy adored, to begin with Hammy was pleased with the new addition, but then puppy grew bigger and stronger than Hammy and i think Hammy's dreams of moving up in the pack were shattered. The puppy occasionally picks on Hammy but he is not rough or persistant. Whenever we go out the puppy goes into his cage. Does anyone have any tips on cheering Hammy up or maybe he's just matured into an adult dog and will always be like a wet weekend :( .
