I have a beautiful, champion line, 9month old, tan/blue Yorkie. I am interested in studding him, and wanted advice or ideas on how to do so. My Pepi is a wonderful dog and fully captures all the quality and characteristics of the Yorkie. He is smart as a whip, funny, happy, he was housebroken quickly, he's just amazing! I have seen some of the "prue-bred" Yorkies around and can not believe what some people are claiming is a Yorkshire Terrier! Quality is important to me, everyone who meets him loves him, and it is my opinion (by his current behavior) that this dog is ready to stud. Please Help. Thank You,

Hello
There are many many stud dogs out there, however the stud dogs that people use are usually the ones that are shown at KC events and prove that they are worthy, other exhibitors can also see the dogs progeny in the ring.
We all have beautiful dogs, and think they are the best thing since sliced bread, but unfortunately that's not enough.
If he's that nice why not show him, get any relevant health checks and take it from there, if you are approached all well and good.
But to be honest your opinion of him just isn't enough to use him widely at stud.
I'm not trying to discourage you but these are just a few points which you need to consider. :)

Just to add to the above comment 9 months is a bit young to start studding your dog.
Let him grow up into a mature dog and after he has proved himself in the ring , you may have people approach you about using him.
