I would like to know what happens when you stud your siberian husky
What qualifications does he have to have and what is a fair price to ask from the bitch owner, please help.

HI
You need to have your dogs health checks done(hip scores etc-not just looked at by the vet but x-rayed and scored ) and you would need to show him if you wanted to use him at stud properly. This would enable you to find out if he is a good example of the breed and if he is then it would get him seen by bitch owners. This may still not ensure you and matings as his pedigree would need to be complimentary to the bitches aswell.
If you do use him are you in a position to take responsibility for any pups that are returned-its not just the bitch responsibility.
Why do you want to use him??why noy enjoy him as a pet?
Regards Archer

The usual price is the cost of a pup.
