Does anyone know of any newfoundland clubs in the north east which do swimming classes, i.e. teaching them to enter the water, and swim, etc.

You could also see if there is a pets therapy pool in your area which accepts dogs for fitness/fun. The staff should be able to assist you in teaching your Newfie to swim and enjoy it. I would recommend the one I take my Mal to but that is in the South, so too far away ;)
