- By guest [gb] Date 26.02.03 22:17 UTC
We have an 11 month old Newfoundland. He has just had an operation on his elbows, his front legs are much better but his hips have gone worse.Iam just wondering if anyone can give us any information on how much exercise he should
have or any information which will help him.
thanks Joanne & Rob

Hi Joanne, did your vet not talk to you about it? I shpuld think after surgery you will have to keep him quite for a while, only going outside on a lead for enough time as it takes him to do his business then straight back to bed, no running round or jumping up or playing till at least he has his stitches out.. It might be a good idea to ring your vet & ask him for detailed instructions. Why don`t you join, it`s free & then you can ask more questions & let us know how you get on. Here`s a link with some info below.
Christine, Spain.
