I posted this lower down on another thread, and it was suggested I put it here separately. The GSD in question, has had an accident, resulting in a badly broken leg, which has had to be amputated. The owner wanted it put down but the vet operating on it has managed to get a reprieve, of a few days, in which to rehome it. Would anyone know of a good home for this dog? It is a young male.

What area is the dog in? Do we know anything about its temperament ... what is it like with other dogs etc.

I know nothing more than I have been told by the vets concerned. i will try to get permission to post the vets number.

OK ... I have a couple I know looking for a companion dog for their young Shepherd .. theirs is puppy farm bred and very highly strung though ... would need to be a fairly stable dog.
